Restricting the use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) in electrical and electronic equipment
Beginning July 1st 2006, all electronic equipment anywhere in the European union must comply with RoHS. The restriction limits for the following 6 substances:
Lead, Mercury, Hexavalent Chromium, Cadmium, PBE and PBDE.
