now suffering from very hard competition, hence they easily tend to
shrink or withdraw from a product segment if it is less profitable
from others. You have seen many Japanese manufacturers have given
up POS / Cash Register divisions which are not profitable for them.
Development budget has been drastically cut for POS / Cash Register
division of those manufacturers who are clinging to the division.
